From the Danish/German border, you only have 13 hours’ drive to this ski paradise. However, you must consider that the last 50 kilometers into the city, are a long and tough journey, which will probably take you over an hour and a half.
Not because you’re driving on bad roads, but because it goes up and down, a little to the left, and then quickly to the right. Therefore, it’s difficult to drive at full speed on that stretch.

We are talking sports in cold weather. Skiing, that is what Canazei is all about, in a wonderful setting in the Dolomites. We are around the largest peaks in this magnificent mountain range, the Dolomites.
Here you can go snowboarding, alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. All something that you do in the ski areas of Alpa Ciampac and Canazei Belvedere.
From here you can reach the important passes at Pordoi and Sella, from where you can get fantastic views of the mountain range and not least of Marmolada.
Here you will find one of the largest ski resorts in the world, the Dolomiti Superski, which stretches over a huge area in Alto-Adige, the provinces of Trento and Belluno, as well as the southeasternmost Alps.
People come from all over the world to enjoy the largest skiing area in the Alps. Canazei is connected to the Giro del Sellaronda and is part of the Dolomiti Superski.
The 4 areas for both skiing and snowboarding can be easily reached from Canazei.
