How to reach Lido di Jesolo

No wonder the Danes, the Swedes and the Germans take their car and travel south to Lido di Jesolo because it is not very far either from Germany or Denmark.

By car

From the Danish/German border it’s roughly a 14 hours’ drive if you go straight without breaks. When you have reached Munich, you drive towards Salzburg and Innsbruck, and continue on the motorway A1, then you change to A10/E55 towards Salzburg.
At the motorway junction at Knoten Villach you head towards A2/E55 directed to Italy and Udine. The go straight south until you reach the signs at the Lido.

Sport

The city hosts many different sporting events. Every year during the autumn holidays there is big football tournament that I have had the pleasure to participate at a couple of times.
In addition, there are basketball and tennis tournaments, and if you like to play golf you can swing your golf club at Golf Club Jesolo’s 900.000 square meter course.

You can also spend a great day at the water park Caribe Bay.

Shopping and restaurants

Jesolo offers you a 13 km long shopping street. This street attracts many tourists. Besides shopping you can enjoy a meal or a cold drink in one the street’s many restaurants and bars.

You can also pay the shopping center Jesolo Laguna Shopping a visit. It’s an outdoor shopping center with a huge number of shops, restaurants and bars.

The food is great in Jesolo. The raw materials are provided by local farmers in Veneto, who among other goodies produces the best olive oil.
