There are plenty of airports near Lazise and the Lake Garda.
Verona airport is 22 kilometers form Lazise, Orio al Serio airport at Bergamo is one hours’ drive from Lazise while there is one hour and a half drive from Milano Linate to Lazise.
Lazise is a popular holiday destination for people at all ages. It is obvious. It’s a place with a mild and pleasant climate that invites you to visit it most time of the year or at least from early spring in March to late autumn in the beginning of November.
I have been at the Lake Garda several times during the Danish autumn holiday in week 42. We have visited and stayed in different cities and last time we visited Lazise. The weather was great as it usually is around here.
If you are a frequent visitor in Italy and at the Lake Garda, you already know this. If you are not and you’re considering visiting North Italy and the Lake Garda in autumn, you don’t have to worry about the weather.
Because the weather is fantastic. Several times we have experienced temperatures above 20 degrees, and when the wind is calm, and you are sitting in the sun, it feels like above 25 degrees. Same temperature as a good summer day in Denmark.
As you can see from these pictures, vacationing in Lazise is all about relaxation and fun, which is probably the main reason we go on vacation?!
For those of you who want a more active holiday, there is the option of water skiing or diving in the blue waves of Lake Garda. Alternatively, if you are looking for something a little more relaxing, you can go on a boat tour on the lake.
