How to reach Maranello

Modena located approximately 20 kilometes north of Maranello, If you go by car, it is a 1-hour drive from Bologna, and it is actually only a couple of hours’ drive from Milan.

If you take the train from Bologna, you can reach Maranello in less than 2 hours. This includes a change in Modena, where you must get off the train and transfer to the bus, which stops a few minutes’ walk away. When you arrive in Maranello, it’s a 10-minute walk from the station to the Ferrari factories and museum.

Ferrari Museum

Personally, I’m not a super fan of Formula 1 cars or cars in general, but I have to say, despite my scant interest in cars, that it is a fascinating experience to visit the museum. Here you get the whole story from the end of the 40s, when the dream was born, to today. From the very first Ferrari to the newest and most modern Ferrari, to all their Formula One victories which are many, and to the biggest stars who have raced their cars.

Michael Schumacher

We cannot avoid mentioning the German who raced for Ferrari from 1996 to 2006. He and Ferrari won 5 World Championship titles in a row from 2000 to 2004. The 2002 season was superb for Schumacher and Ferrari. They won 15 out of 17 races that season.
