The Po delta, Parco regionale del Delta del Po, covers an area of more than 53,000 hectares and is situated in the two provinces of Ravenna and Ferrara, in the northwestern part of the region. The park is a favorite place for those who love nature, and was accepted on the world heritage list by UNESCO in 1999.
